Spray Paint Lamp
For this piece, I repurposed all the materials for this project in order to give the objects a new purpose. I sketched a concept for the foundational appearance of what I intended to construct and then took to finding the materials. I found an old broken lamp stand and an old spray paint can. Loosely following my concept sketch, I began assembling these objects together; I cut the can, painted it, and connected a light bulb inside the hollowed-out object. I fused the can to the lampstand and connected the appropriate wires to make this a functional tool.
